Generally these Screen Recording softwares
- Helps us to prepare 'Tutorials'.
- It captures everything from your monitor.
- It can be an image, animation, flash file or text.
- Whatever happens in your monitor, including your mouse movement, is captured and saved as an .avi
There are many freewares available for 'Screen Recording'.
CAM STUDIO - Open Source : This is my favourite
Freez Screen Video Capture : This is also reasonably good
Auto Screen Recorder 3 : This one is also equally good.
With all these softwares, you can either record the full screen or just part of the screen.
